Timber Cove Appoints Caroline Appel as General Manager and Liana Elghazi as Director of Sales

JENNER, Calif. (September 13, 2017) – Timber Cove, the nationally acclaimed Sonoma Coast resort located off California’s Highway 1, announces two new additions to its expanding team; General Manager Caroline Appel and Director of Sales Liana Elghazi.
The combined experience Appel and Elghazi bring to Timber Cove spans across some of the most celebrated hotel properties and hospitality brands, bringing a new level of knowledge and skill to the boutique hotel’s leadership team.

Caroline Appel, General Manager
Caroline Appel, a German national, brings over 20 years of hospitality management experience to her new position as General Manager at Timber Cove. Caroline has worked in luxury resorts and lifestyle boutique hotels in Puerto Rico, Miami and Los Angeles. She was part of the opening team of the Ritz Carlton Hotel & Spa in San Juan, Puerto Rico and The JW Marriott in Miami, Florida. With her background in F&B and Sales & Marketing, she brings her creativity, passion and attention to detail to Timber Cove.
Liana Elghazi, Director of Sales
A California native with over seven years’ experience, Liana Elghazi has held sales positions at various hotels including the JW Marriott Santa Monica Le Merigot and the Marina del Rey Hotel in Marina del Rey, California. She is well known for her work ethic, positive attitude, teamwork mentality, diligence, and attention to detail. Liana is a Marriott Certified Wedding Planner and received a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
